Why? Well, we eat here several times a year on our way to Mackinac Island or Michigan's Upper Peninsula to see the waterfalls. Their crust is light and airy and the sauce is very fresh, slightly sweet and handmade. We always order our pizza with fresh tomatoes, Italian sausage (they have freakin' amazing sausage) and onions. Just get it.

Capozio's - 13982 Red Arrow Hwy, Harbert, MI 49115. So, my brother vouches for Capoios as the best Michigan pizza! When we lived in St. Joseph he and and his friends would drive to Capozios to dine on the best thick crust pizza around. He says, and I quote, "I haven't found a better pizza yet!"
